If you follow the news on mainstream media or even social media, nothing is going right with America. Or the world, for that matter.

Yet those of us with faith in Jesus Christ see things in a different way. We are not blind to the destructive polices of our current government, or tragedies around the world, but we don’t despair. Worldly security may come and go, but Christ’s security is eternal and guaranteed.

America was founded by Christians as the most successful experiment ever in self-government.

As we have forgotten God, things have gone awry.

But God can set things right.

In a recent message, Pastor Andrew Wommack warned of the fallacy of placing limits on God.

He cited the account in Luke 1:37, in which an angel informs Mary of her pending supernatural pregnancy and mention’s Elizabeth’s seemingly impossible birth of a son in her old age: “For with God nothing shall be impossible.”

“What a statement,” wrote Pastor Wommack. “If we just believed this, how different our lives would be!”

Then he explained further:

“From birth we are trained to know our limitations. You can’t have this. Don’t touch that. Don’t put things in your mouth. You can’t touch the fire. On and on the list goes.

“As we grow up, it’s actually a sign of maturity to recognize our limitations and learn to live within them. There are limits to everything. It’s a fact of life.

“But God has no limits. When we enter into the realm of the supernatural, we have to take off all the limits. We have to renew our minds with the truth that God is not like us. He can do anything.

“We have an awesome God whose power is so great that we can’t even comprehend it. He created the universe and it didn’t even tax His ability. Yet many times we find ourselves wondering if our situation is too hard for the Lord. We can’t see how even God can pull us through.

“The Lord said to Jeremiah, ‘Behold, I am the LORD, the God of all flesh. Is there anything too hard for me?’ (Jer. 32:27) The answer is a resounding NO! The only thing that limits God is our unbelief (Deut. 7:17).

“Today, let’s honor God by believing that nothing is too difficult for Him.”

What does God have in store for America in 2023?

Andrew Wommack has authored dozens of books and founded Charis Bible College and GospelTruth.tv.

Pastor Wommack is also a founder of Truth & Liberty Coalition, Inc., a nonprofit based in Woodland Park, Colorado.

On a personal note, I have had the privilege of appearing with Andrew during live-cast presentations from his church in Woodland Park.

The Coalition seeks to educate, unify and mobilize believers in Jesus Christ to bring about the reformation of nations through the seven mountains of cultural influence.

“We see a Church unengaged in the public square because we have been conditioned to believe there is a disconnect between the secular and sacred,” according to truthandliberty.net. “There is not. We have been commissioned to bring Heaven to this earth, to its people – every tribe and tongue.

“Our heart is to mobilize the Church to engage with biblical truth. We find often that churches and pastors don’t know where to start. Our goal is to educate our audience and connect them with resources and organizations across the nation to help them impact their own spheres of influence.”

Since 1968, Andrew has taught God’s Word with clarity and simplicity, emphasizing the unconditional love and grace of God.

His vision is to spread the Gospel as far and deep as possible through his daily Gospel Truth television and radio programs, broadcast nationally and internationally, as well as through GospelTruth.tv, his internet television network.

Since its founding, Charis Bible College has expanded to more than 60 Charis campuses in cities across America and around the world.

Many of Andrew’s books have been translated into foreign languages. Much of his extensive library of materials is available free of charge at awmi.net.

Andrew has been married to his wife, Jamie, since 1972. They have two sons and one granddaughter.
