In honor — or dishonor — of President Joe Biden signing the (Dis)Respect for Marriage Act at the White House earlier this week, a “nonbinary” drag queen called Marti Gould Cummings was invited to the ceremony.
Cummings posted to Twitter:
“To be a nonbinary drag artist invited to the White House is something I never imagined would happen. Thank you President & Dr. Biden for inviting me to this historic bill signing. Grateful doesn’t begin to express the emotions I feel.”
Fox News reported that Cummings is a “defund the police” proponent. He has shared a number of anti-cop sentiments, calling the police “whiny and weak,” that “all cops are bastards” and posts slogans like “fu*k the police.”
That seems bad. But it isn’t the worst. The Daily wire exposed footage that shows Cummings performing his drag act for a 2-year-old boy
Cummings sings “Baby Shark” to a toddler three years ago. He wore a wig, high-heeled boots and a leotard.
A 2020 bid for a New York City Council seat came up short for Cummings, who ran as a “proud fem queer nonbinary drag artist who wants to defund police and fund education, affordable housing, social work” and ran to fight for “the people not police unions.”
