American Federation for Children Action Fund released a 15-second ad blasting Republican State Rep. Jane Bloomingdale for siding with Democrats and against Iowa families and Gov. Kim Reynolds when it comes to Education Savings Accounts.
“They say you are the company you keep,” the ad starts. “Bloomingdale and Democrats opposed the Governor’s education plan, earning her support from the group that endorsed Joe, Nancy and Kamala. Jane Bloomingdale, supported by Democrats, loved by liberals.”
Bloomingdale is facing a primary challenge from Deb Hild, who has expressed support for Education Savings Accounts. Bloomingdale is also an anti-life Republican, voting against the Heartbeat Bill as well as the Protect Life Amendment.
