U.S. Congressman Tim Burchett (TN-02) reintroduced H.R. 7466, the Do Your Job Act.

The Do Your Job Act would cut the pay of Members of Congress by 10% each year they fail to pass an annual budget.

“Congress is required by law to pass a budget and when we don’t, we’re failing our constituents,” said Rep. Burchett. “If you don’t do your job in the private sector, you don’t get paid or at least make less money. There’s no reason it shouldn’t be the same in Washington.”
