Cedar Valley Patriots for Christ will host Philip Haney, a DHS whistle blower, on Tuesday, March 12 at the Waterloo Center For the Arts. The event is free of charge and will begin at 6:30 p.m.
Haney studied Arabic culture and language while working as a scientist in the Middle East before becoming a founding member of the Department of Homeland Security in 2002 as a Customs & Border Protection agriculture officer.
After advancing to an armed CBP officer where he served several tours of duty at the National Targeting Center near Washington, D.C., he was quickly promoted to its Advanced Targeting Team, an unprecedented accomplishment for an agent on temporary duty assignment.
Officer Haney won numerous awards and commendations from his superiors for meticulously compiling information and producing actionable reports that led to the identification of hundreds of terrorists. He has specialized in Islamic theology and the strategy and tactics of the global Islamic movement.

Haney revealed DHS had purged training materials that cast Islam in a negative light. Worse, in 2009, Haney’s superiors ordered him to remove critical linking information from more than 800 records he had created on individuals associated with Muslim Brotherhood front groups in the United States.

Judd Saul, the founder of Cedar Valley Patriots for Christ, said he is looking forward to hosting the event.
“We try to bring great speakers into the Cedar Valley every year, and this is an opportunity that you don’t want to miss,” Saul said.
