Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) held her second telephone town hall tonight and discussed a wide variety of issues with constituents from Iowa’s First District.

“I appreciate everyone who took time out of their busy schedules to participate in my second telephone town hall tonight.

“From introducing bipartisan legislation to fix issues with the Paycheck Protect Program to pushing back against harmful policies like a federally mandated $15-dollar minimum wage, I am focused on issues that matter to Iowans.

“We had a great discussion on infrastructure, challenges facing our farmers, and the need to secure our Southern Border. My priority will always be to focus on the issues that Iowans are talking about around their kitchen tables and not the D.C. drama.

“Whether we agree on an issue or not, I can promise that you will always know where I stand and why. I will continue to follow through on my promise of transparency and accountability and look forward to continuing these important conversations with Iowans.”
