Convention of States Action is hosting a town hall event on Feb. 20 at 7 p.m. in Des Moines. Former Sen. Rick Santorum will join COS Action President Mark Meckler to explain what the movement is and how Article V of the U.S. Constitution grants authority to state legislatures to bypass Congress and restrain federal overreach.

The event will take place at Franklin Junior High (4801 Franklin Ave.). It is free and open to the public. There will be an open Q&A session at the end of the event.

Santorum is senior advisor for COS Action. He served two terms in both the U.S. House and Senate. He became one of America’s leading government reformers, pro-life advocates and national security experts.

COS Action has more than 5 million supporters and activists who represent every state legislative district in the country.
