Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer posted pictures on Facebook Tuesday morning of her greeting veterans from an Eastern Iowa Honor Flight in Washington D.C.

“No better way to spend the morning than with our #IA01 heroes visiting the WWII Memorial from the Eastern Iowa Honor Flight,” she wrote.

It’s a very different tone than Finkenauer had on the floor of the Iowa House in 2017. During debate on collective bargaining reforms, Finkenauer called Rep. Steven Holt a “coward.” Holt served for 20 years in the U.S. Marines. He also served in law enforcement.
