Congressman Henry Cuellar, a Democrat serving the 28th District of Texas, is a senior member of the House Appropriations Committee. He shared a post with three photos to Facebook on July 31 that show what agents are encountering on the southern border.

“Our DHS agents, and border communities, are overwhelmed and must be prioritized,” Cuellar wrote. “DHS will again encounter over 180,000 immigrants at the southern border during July — adding to the more than 1 million immigrants that have arrived at the southern border in FY21. Something has to change!”

Some of those responding to his posts have zero sympathies for Cuellar.

“YOU own this Congressman. This is YOUR legacy. You supported every vote and policy change that created this travesty. You can’t deflect responsibility,” John wrote.

“Cuellar – Stop pretending you are against this. You have done nothing ot stop it. Thi sis a crisis and it needs to stop immediately,” wrote Kellianne.

“Stop simping for the Biden Administration when Harris has continuously ignored you. They don’t give a f-word for us border cities, we are the ones who suffer the most. Do something for your community. SPEAK UP for your community,” wrote Ashleigh.
