Climate change is one area President Joe Biden appears to side with the majority of Americans. Fifty-one percent of likely U.S. voters say climate change is a crisis. Forty percent disagree.

Biden and 13 top officials from his administration will attend a United Nations climate meeting in Glasgow. Forty-eight percent of likely voters said they support Biden’s approach to tackling the climate crisis while 46 percent oppose it.

Looking a bit deeper, 28 percent strongly support it, while 36 percent strongly oppose it.

While on the surface it appears most likely voters agree with Biden, that majority is made up of many Democrats.

Seventy-five percent of Democrats believe climate change is a crisis. But just 31 percent of Republicans and 44 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.

Seventy-six percent of Democrats support Biden’s approach to tackling the climate crisis, but only 25 percent of Republicans and 38 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.
