Facebook removed an ad from American Principles Project PAC. The ad exposes Joe Biden and Democrats for supporting policies that “threaten” women’s sports. Here is the ad:

According to APP PAC, Facebook originally placed a notice on the ad for “missing context” after PolitiFact published a review of the ad.

APP PAC is in the process of appealing the decision.

“Today, it has become clear that the greatest threat to free and fair American elections is not Russia or some other nefarious foreign actor; it is America’s own Big Tech conglomerates — Facebook chief among them,” said APP PAC’s Terry Schilling. “It would be understandable, though still very troubling, if Facebook removed an ad for being ‘fact-checked’ as false. However, our ad has not been found false by any fact-checker, nor could it be.

“Facebook has instead decided to begin removing content it deems to be ‘missing context.’ What that means is anyone’s guess. We are still waiting to hear exactly what context our ad is missing that made it so dangerous that voters needed to be protected from its message.”

Schilling said the group is “highly concerned” Facebook is simply using the ‘missing context’ label as a means to remove speech it doesn’t agree with.

“After all, just about any political ad could be found to be ‘missing context,'” Schilling said. “It is simply impossible to provide all possible context on every issue in any media, nevermind in a 30-second spot.”
