Republican Congressman Scott Perry had amendments that would have reduced International Disaster Assistance and Migration and Refugee Assistance funding to $0. Both failed, however.

The amendment to zero out funding for International Disaster Assistance lost 86-346 as all 212 recorded Democrats voted no along with 134 Republicans. The amendment to zero out the Migration and Refugee Assistance funding lost 121-311 with all 212 Democrats joining 99 Republicans.

Fourth District Rep. Randy Feenstra was the only member from Iowa to vote in support of the amendments. It appears the bill provides $3,905,460,000 for International Disaster Assistance. It appears the bill provides $2,548,250,000 for Migration and Refugee Assistance.
