On Thursday, U.S. Rep. Randy Feenstra (R-Hull) issued the following statement after the House Ways and Means Committee released credible whistleblower testimony from the IRS regarding tax evasion by Hunter Biden:

“Over the last several weeks, I have participated in sensitive meetings reviewing credible whistleblower testimony from the IRS which clearly documented and described illegal activity and tax evasion by Hunter Biden. As a member of the House Ways and Means Committee, I am very concerned that Hunter Biden secured favorable treatment by the IRS that no other law-abiding American would receive.

I am equally disturbed that – while President Biden wants to fund 87,000 new IRS agents to target Iowa families, farmers, and main street businesses – his son benefited from a sweetheart deal untethered from the law. We must restore equal justice under law in our country because nobody is above the law.”
