President Joe Biden wasted little time cutting thousands of U.S. jobs.
Biden issued an executive order on his first day to stop construction of the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Rasmussen Reports released a national phone and online survey that shows just 36 percent of likely U.S. voters think it is a good idea to cancel the Keystone XL Pipeline.
Fifty-one percent of voters said it is a bad idea.
Sixty percent of voters expect Biden’s energy policies will lead to an increase in gas prices. Just eight percent think his policies will create lower gas prices.
Republican voters are most opposed — by more than a 3-to-1 margin — but 58 percent of voters unaffiliated with either major party also disagree. Even 20 percent of Democrats said they oppose the decision.
An age gap exists once again, with voters under 40 more likely to support Biden’s decision. However, support failed to hit 50 percent in any age group.
