There has been an uptick in conversation about Iowa’s lack of diversity being a reason Iowa has “too much influence” on the Presidential election process.

The Iowa Standard has documented this before, though. Remember, President Barack Obama fared far better in states with less diversity compared to states with more diversity in the 2008 Democrat primaries.

And remember, we are talking about Democrat primaries. Democrat voters.

So, it’s quite the conundrum Democrats find themselves in. They continually pound what they believe to be the “racist” GOP, but in reality, it seems there may be a speck in their own eye.

Even the liberal media may need to take a look in the mirror. In 2008, the Des Moines Register had a choice between endorsing a white presidential candidate, or the eventual first black President in U.S. history.

The Des Moines Register endorsed the white person over Obama.
