On Monday, December 23, U.S. Rep. Cindy Axne will conclude her 16-county tour for December with stops in Union, Ringgold, Taylor, Adams, Page, and Cass Counties.
Rep. Axne will host her final “Connect with your Congresswoman” (CWYC) town hall of 2019 at the Taylor County Museum in Bedford, Iowa. She will also make visits to a 911 call center, a local bakery and library, and a retirement home in Page County.
Axne’s CWYC town hall events provide an opportunity for constituents to meet the Congresswoman, ask questions regarding her work in Washington, and discuss concerns facing local communities. Earlier this year, Axne was highlighted by the Town Hall Project for holding more public town halls than any other freshman Member of Congress between January and September.
