Nikki Haley made her rounds through Iowa the last couple of days. And during a lunch with Iowa Young Republicans, she repeated a line of criticism against President Donald J. Trump she’s used in the past.
Haley was one of Trump’s biggest GOP critics. Well, she was one of his biggest critics leading up to the 2016 election, then worked for him and then returned to being one of his biggest critics again after the 2020 election.
If you haven’t read about Haley’s Trump-bashing habits, do so here.
On Friday, Haley joined the Iowa Young Republicans for a luncheon. She told the audience:
“I have always said I agree with everything President Trump did,” she said. “I was disappointed with how Trump responded after the election, especially as it related to Mike Pence who was nothing but loyal to him and going into the Georgia races. And I’ve said that.”
