According to a new Rasmussen Reports national phone and online survey, 41 percent of likely voters have a favorable impression of Vice President Kamala Harris. Fifty-six percent of voters hold an unfavorable view of Harris.
Just 21 percent of likely voters said they hold a very favorable view of Harris while 43 percent said they hold a very unfavorable view of the vice president.
Only one-fourth of those polled said Harris helps Biden’s chances of being re-elected. Twenty-nine percent said Harris hurts Biden’s chances.
Just 19 percent of voters said Harris is doing a better job than most previous vice presidents. On the flip side, 49 percent said she is doing worse than most vice presidents.
While Harris scores low with Republicans and unaffiliated voters, she is underwater with Democrats too.
Just 36 percent of Democrats said Harris is doing a better job than most previous vice presidents. Only eight percent of Republicans and 12 percent of unaffiliated voters agree.
Sixty-nine percent of Democrats have at least a somewhat favorable view of Harris, but that’s shared by just 16 percent of Republicans and 36 percent of unaffiliated voters. Eighty-one percent of Republicans and 60 percent of unaffiliated voters hold an unfavorable view of Harris.
