Congresswoman Ashley Hinson (IA-01) hosted a bipartisan flood briefing with American Flood Coalition Executive Director Melissa Roberts. Roberts and Hinson provided updates on FEMA’s new Risk Rating 2.0 system and federal flood mitigation.

“Flooding is an issue that impacts all of our constituents, not just those in blue districts or red districts, and we must continue working across the aisle on flood mitigation. Today’s flood briefing will help Members of Congress better inform their constituents about flood related risks and prevention, and keep this important conversation going at the federal level. Thank you to Melissa Roberts for providing such an informative briefing, and to all the Members who joined the conversation.”  – Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
