Congresswoman Ashley Hinson is calling for House consideration of her See the Crisis Act, legislation that would block Vice President Harris from using taxpayer dollars to travel internationally before seeing the border crisis firsthand. This follows Vice President Harris’s recent claim that the border is secure.
“Vice President Kamala Harris was named ‘border czar’ 540 days ago, has yet to visit the epicenter of the border crisis, and still claims the border is secure. Meanwhile, there have been over 3 million illegal immigrant encounters at the border, drug cartels are shipping fentanyl across the border in droves, and an unprecedented number of suspected terrorists are trying to come into the country.
