The White House is maintaining that Vice President Kamala Harris misspoke on Friday while delivering remarks at Coppin State University.

Rather than “population,” the White House has said she was supposed to say pollution. The official transcript of the speech from the White House has the word “population” crossed out and it is replaced with the word “pollution.”
Harris has struggled to establish any support from the American people during her time as Vice President. Her approval rating has consistently tracked lower than President Joe Biden’s. And, should Biden seek a second term in the White House, it is likely Harris will be examined even more considering she’ll be the running mate of the oldest person to ever seek a second presidential term.
