For weeks Kevin O’Connor and a small group of lefties at his group PUBLIC EDUCATION VOTERS JOHNSTON have been completely obsessed with trying to derail a mainstream student-led Conservative group from being approved as an official club at Johnston. Last night O’Conner referenced an obscure part of school policy (never required for other clubs) to demand the board delay the approval of TP USA, because it is a nationally platformed group. Collateral damage to his demand also caused the delay in the approval of a youth running group called Girls on the Run, which may affect their ability to complete their planned end of season 5K… not to mention the colossal waste of the board’s time. Be sure to go and thank Kevin and his group for their brave stance against kids discussing things they don’t agree with!
