It has been horrifying to watch the tragic events unfold in Israel. The images of innocent men, women, children and elderly being brutally murdered, beaten and raped are truly barbaric. The actions of Hamas are disgusting and should be forcefully condemned by every American and freedom-loving person around the world.
What’s really disappointing to see–and I can’t believe I have to say this–is some of our leaders right here in the U.S. who are defending the Hamas animals while they’re murdering innocent people for the world to see. It’s antisemitic and unconscionable.
Now, more than ever, we must stand strong with our most important ally in the Middle East–not abandon them. I am so proud of our very own Congressman Zach Nunn who introduced a bill in Congress to declare our unwavering support for Israel and call for much-needed assistance to the Israelis while they fight for their livelihoods and freedom.
Congressman Nunn is showing true leadership at a time when the United States must show how strong we are when we fight to protect our allies. The Israelis need our unwavering help and support, and Nunn has stepped up.
