Senator Grassley recently released a Myths and Facts about the $1.2 Trillion Infrastructure bill that he voted for.   I read the very first line that stated “This bill is 100% infrastructure-related spending.”

Now, I’m not the smartest guy because that simply doesn’t seem true. Perhaps our wise Senator can help with these myths and facts about the bill….

Will this bill add $256 Billon to our deficit over the next 10 years?  Or, is the Congressional Budget Office wrong?

Why was the Buy American provision not included for infrastructure spending?  Do you not support American workers?

Why is gender identity part of this bill?  Does the government really need to fund a study of why women are under-represented in the trucking industry?

Why will digital equity dollars not get applied to all equally?

Why are studies considered infrastructure?  In particular, why a study at the loss of jobs for Biden shutting down the Keystone Pipeline?

Does this bill include $250 million for invasive plants on transportation corridor right of ways?

Who will oversee the $500 million for public schools to become energy efficient?

Our Federal Government is a clown show, so out of touch.  I haven’t spoken with a single person that’s in favor of this wasteful spending.  Sadly, another example of why our elected officials no longer represent We The People.
