Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks took to the floor of the U.S. House of Representatives to support Speaker Kevin McCarthy.

Miller-Meeks said a motion to vacate the chair will derail the House’s appropriations bill process, erode its ability to investigate the Biden family’s corruption and pause work to fortify the border.

Miller-Meeks bashed conservative Congressman Matt Gaetz for his efforts to vacate the chair, writing:

“If true you only ‘want to address spending,’ last Friday u & ur minions would’ve supported stop gap funding cutting spending another 8 percent and border security. Instead you worked with Democrats to derail House bill, pushing Senate bill with Ukraine funding.”
