On Thursday, April 14th, 2022, Rep. Mariannette Miller-Meeks (IA-02) released the following statement after being sanctioned by Russia for supporting several measures to punish the Russian economy, government, President Putin, and Russian oligarchs for the on-going invasion of Ukraine:
“I will not bow down to the thugs in Moscow. The invasion of Ukraine violates international law and cannot go unpunished. I am proud to stand with the people of Ukraine and I am inspired by their bravery and will to fight for their country. I will continue to work with all of my colleagues to hold Russia, Putin, and his cronies accountable for their war crimes against the people of Ukraine.”
So she would rather align herself with the Nazis of the Ukraine and their cocaine addicted leader.
There are NO US interests in Ukraine, and not a dime of our money should be spent there. How about spending our money (what little is left) to protect our border? That is also where US troops should be; not in eastern Europe.
Have all DC pols gone insane? They are encouraging more death and destruction by promoting this war, and even risking nuclear war over a corrupt country that has engaged in violent acts against its own people.
This was is adding to increased costs and shortages in fuel and inflation. There is no reason to continue this, and the US isn’t even trying to find a diplomatic solution.
Every pol in DC must be getting a nice payoff from defense contractors, or else they are drunk with power and/or stark raving mad.

There are some many problems here in the USA to attend to but no – these guys have to play world cop instead of taking care of America first –
