A new national phone and online survey released by Rasmussen Reports reveals support for voter ID laws remains high. Also, most Republicans still do not believe Joe Biden was elected fairly.

Seventy-five percent of likely U.S. voters believe requiring a photo ID to vote is a reasonable measure to protect the integrity of elections. Only 19 percent disagree.

Eighty-three percent said it is “very important” to prevent cheating in elections — a four-point jump from June.

Thirty-four percent of the voters still do not believe Biden won the election fairly. Fifty-three percent say Biden did win fairly, but 13 percent said they are unsure.

In June, 41 percent of voters said they did not believe Biden won the election fairly.

Sixty-one percent of Republicans still do not believe Biden won fairly. Twenty-nine percent of unaffiliated voters agree, as do 13 percent of Democrats.
