Congresswoman Marjorie Taylor Greene said on Twitter that she is currently supporting just President Donald J. Trump for Speaker of the House.
Greene, who voted against vacating the chair, said Trump will end the war in Ukraine, secure the border, end the politically weaponized government, make American energy independent again, pass her bill to stop sex-change surgeries on kids, keep men out of women’s sports, support American military and police — and more.
“He has a proven four-year record as President of the United States of America,” she wrote. “He received a record number of Republican votes of any Republican Presidential candidate. We can make him Speaker and then elect him President! He will Make America Great Again.”
Just hours earlier, Greene warned against vacating the chair. She credited Rep. Kevin McCarthy for launching the impeachment inquiry and said he is the only person in the GOP conference to step up and be Speaker.
“Dysfunction will not solve any of these problems, we can only truly change things when Trump is back in the White House,” she said. “We have to save our country and sinking the ship before we reach our destination will imperil us all.”
