Quinnipiac University released a new poll on Wednesday on key political races in Pennsylvania. And the poll is good news for President Donald J. Trump.

Trump received 61 percent support among registered Republicans in Pennsylvania, a 12-point increase since late June. Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis, meanwhile, recorded just 14 percent support — an 11-point drop since June.

Nikki Haley’s support doubled to eight percent, but nobody else eclipsed four percent. Haley just sits six points behind DeSantis in the race for second.

Quinnipiac’s poll shows that Trump would beat Biden 47-45 in Pennsylvania, which was a crucial swing state in 2016 and 2020. Independents support Trump 48-39.

The same poll shows Democrat Sen. Bob Casey beating Republican David McCormick 50-44. McCormick refused to say the 2020 election was stolen, which hurt him among some Pennsylvania Republicans.
