Nearly a week after The Iowa Standard published an article asking why none of Iowa’s Republicans in the United States House of Representatives were cosponsirng Rep. Thomas Massie’s bill to protect military members against COVID vaccine mandates.

We are pleased to report that Congressman Randy Feenstra has been added as a cosponsor five months after the bill was introduced.

The legislation prohibits use of federal funds to require a member of the Armed Forces to receive a COVID vaccination. It also prohibits adverse action being taken against a member of the Armed Forces because the member refuses to receive a COVID vaccination.
