Republican Representative Carter Nordman notched his first legislative win during his first year in the Iowa House by having his proposed law to require schools to offer the Pledge of Allegiance each day. Oh, and that an American flag is displayed.

That bill was included as an amendment to another bill later in session and became law when it was signed earlier this summer by Gov. Kim Reynolds.

As school approaches, some on the Left are losing their minds at the idea.

He shared this voicemail he received.

“When did we start teaching white nationalism in schools, because that’s exactly what the (expletive) you’re doing sir and you have no right to require something like that,” the caller said. “Our children aren’t proud to be American. Maybe the white suburban kids out in Adel are proud to be American because their rights are afforded to them and they don’t have to fight for them.”

She went on to say women, the poor, the elderly and the minorities are not (expletive) proud.

“What are we proud of? We’re proud of our racist history? We’re proud of our racist roots? Is that what we’re proud of? We’re proud of the fact that not all citizens in the United States are afforded the same rights and the same privileges as the blonde hair, blue eyes ones? That’s a bunch of colonizer bull(expletive) Carter. And the fact that you’re perpetuating that is disgusting. Teach that (expletive) in the suburbs. You wanna teach your kids to be a white nationalist, you can (expletive) do it. But you and Kim Reynolds are (expletive) disgusting and you have absolutely no right to require that a public school teach children to be U.S. nationalists.”

She finishes by saying she’ll make sure Nordman is no longer sitting in the Iowa House of Representatives.

“Everything that you stand for is the same (expletive) that the Trump administration stood for and clearly you and Kim Reynolds still have your head so far up his (expletive) that you can’t tell where one of you ends and the other one begins.”
