Polk County Democrats wasted little time politicizing the tragedies that took place over the weekend. They posted a cartoon along with this message:
“We could not agree more with this drawing and Sen. Joni Ernst does nothing, except offer meaningless ‘prayers!’ #heartless.”
The drawing includes a big figure with a gun walking hand-in-hand with a GOP-looking politician. The NRA man says “we’ve accomplished so much together.”
Meanwhile, six people lay in pools of blood.
