President Donald Trump issued an endorsement on Friday for Rep. Ashley Hinson. Hinson is running for the Republican nomination to take on current Congresswoman Abby Finkenauer.
“Ashley Hinson will be a tremendous advocate for the people of Iowa!” Trump tweeted. “She will fight for our military, vets, small businesses and our incredible farmers — a true supporter of our MAGA Agenda! Ashley has my complete and total endorsement!”
Hinson shared the tweet and noted that Republicans across the board are unified behind her campaign to defeat Finkenauer in November.
“I’m honored to have President Trump’s support as I fight for Iowa families,” she said.
