Representative Ashley Hinson (IA-01) held a town hall in Cedar Rapids (Linn County) today as she continues to follow through on her commitment to being transparent and accessible to her constituents. Questions from constituents were not pre-screened or filtered.

“Thank you to everyone who attended my town hall in Cedar Rapids this morning. It was great to provide an update on my time serving Iowans in Congress so far and answer unfiltered questions on border security, lowering prescription drug costs, and my work to protect taxpayer dollars and stop the tax and spending agenda in Washington.

“The feedback I received at town halls like this one are invaluable–everything I am working on at the federal level comes from these conversations with Iowans, and the stories I heard today gave me a better understanding of what policies are working and what policies are making life harder. I’ll use these stories to best advocate for our district and what we need in Iowa.” –Congresswoman Ashley Hinson
