A GOP Central Committee in Wyoming passed a resolution to censure Rep. Liz Cheney for her vote to impeach President Donald J. Trump.

The vote was unanimous among the 45-member central committee and included a demand that Rep. Cheney appears before the committee to explain her actions.

The resolution comes one week after the Wyoming Republican Party criticized Cheney for her vote.

The Carbon County Republican Central Committee said Cheney “violated” the trust of voters and failed to “faithfully represent a very large majority of motivated Wyoming voters.

Cheney, the committee said, neglected her duty to represent the party.
