A proposed Iowa law would answer the question asked by The Daily Wire’s Matt Walsh — What is a woman?

House Study Bill 588 is an Education Committee bill that simply defines the term “woman” as an “adult female human” for the purposes of the rules of statutory construction.

Republican Representatives Heather Hora and Brooke Boden are assigned to the subcommittee along with Democrat Rep. Sharon Steckman.

The Iowa State Education Association (teacher’s union), Iowa Safe Schools and One Iowa are registered against the bill.
