In the words of Patrick Henry, “United we stand, divided we fall.” This is a truth that has been proven time and time again throughout history. When we are united, we are strong. We can overcome any challenge. But when we are divided, we are weak. We are easy prey for our enemies.

Henry’s message was simple: if the American colonies were to be successful in their fight for independence, they would need to be united. If they were divided, they would be easy prey for the British. Henry knew that the colonies were a diverse group of people with different cultures and backgrounds, but he also knew that they shared a common goal: freedom. He believed that if they could set aside their differences and unite behind this common goal, they would be unstoppable.

Henry’s words were prophetic.  The American Colonies were able to achieve independence because they were united.  They fought together, they sacrificed together, and they won together.  The United States of America is a testament to the power of unity.

This is a lesson that we must relearn as a nation. We are facing many challenges today. We are divided on issues of race, religion, and politics. We are more polarized than ever before. But if we want to overcome these challenges, we must find a way to come together. We must unite as one people, united under God.

I believe that the best way to achieve unity is through dialogue. We need to talk to each other about our differences. We need to listen to each other’s concerns. And we need to find common ground. We may not agree on everything, but we can still find ways to work together.

I know that unity is not easy. It takes hard work and dedication. But it is worth it. When we are united, we are unstoppable. We can achieve anything we set our minds to.

So let us come together as one people. Let us put aside our differences and work together for a better future. Let us unite and show the world what we can accomplish.

“We are at a crossroads in our nation’s history. We can either choose to continue down the path of division and chaos, or we can choose to come together and unite as one people. I believe that the latter is the only option that will allow us to overcome the challenges that we face.

Unity is not about agreeing with everyone on everything. It is about respecting each other’s differences and working together to find common ground. It is about putting aside our petty differences and focusing on what unites us as Americans.

Unity is the key to our future. When we are united, we are strong. We can overcome any challenge. But when we are divided, we are weak. We are easy prey for our enemies.

I urge you to choose unity. Choose to come together as one people. Choose to build a better future for ourselves and for our children. Choose unity.”  Let me clarify one thing as I say this.  Unity is not weakness nor is it accepting a weaker point, it is simply being one People.  It does not mean there won’t be winners and losers in political arguments nor does it mean we cede ground on issues that have been won.

Let us all work together to make our nation great again. Let us unite and show the world what we can accomplish.  We will be stronger because of it and yet we will disagree with one another at times.  I have found that we have much more to agree upon than we will disagree on.

  1. I suggest “The Declaration of Independence” as the flagpole to rally around. We will not find unity in application of The Constitution if we do not find unity in The Declaration.
