The Republican Women of Central Iowa are hosting a candidate forum on Tuesday, March 26 at the Ames Public Library Auditorium. The event is scheduled to begin at 6:30 p.m.

Two of the races featured are contested Republican primaries. Gannon Hendrick is running for Iowa Senate District 26 along with Kara Warme.

Brett Barker and Marty Chitty are competing for the House District 51 seat.

Chad Behn is running for House District 48, but is the only Republican in the race so far.

Fourth Congressional District candidate Kevin Virgil is also slated to attend. Congressman Randy Feenstra was invited but hasn’t confirmed.
