On Dec. 7, Senate Democrats voted unanimously to confirm a sanctuary city activist and border crisis denier as the head of U.S. Customs and Border Protection (CBP). Chris Magnus has a long history of defending sanctuary cities that don’t follow the law. During his confirmation hearing, Magnus denied the blatant crisis at the Southern Border SIX TIMES.

This vote explains a lot about where Senate Democrats stand on Biden’s unprecedented border crisis. While Border Patrol agents in Yuma, Arizona, are overwhelmed by an influx of illegal immigrants, Mark Kelly votes to confirm a border crisis denier to oversee them. Yet another example of Kelly saying one thing in Arizona, but doing the opposite in Washington.

Statement from NRSC Spokesman Jonathan Turcotte: “Senate Democrats like Mark Kelly, Catherine Cortez Masto, Maggie Hassan, Raphael Warnock, and Michael Bennet clearly aren’t interested in fixing Biden’s border crisis. They voted to confirm a sanctuary city activist and border crisis denier to lead CBP amid the worst border crisis in U.S. history. They’re nothing more than a rubber stamp for Joe Biden’s dangerous amnesty and open borders agenda.”
