Overnight, the U.S. Senate unanimously passed a bipartisan bill U.S. Senator Joni Ernst (R-Iowa), a combat veteran and member of the Senate Armed Services Committee, cosponsored that would help provide the Ukrainian military the equipment they need to defend their country from Russia’s unjust, unprovoked invasion.
“The Senate continues to stand united in our support of Ukraine. I strongly believe Ukraine can win this war if the United States and our freedom-loving allies and partners around the globe help them win,” said Senator Ernst. “This bipartisan legislation will streamline the process for the U.S. to provide the Ukrainians with the weapons needed to defeat Putin and protect their sovereign country, and I hope the House acts quickly to pass this bill and get it to the president’s desk.”

My grandparents are rolling in their graves, knowing that our politicians and their useful idiots are fighting to save the NAZI party in Ukraine.
My family will never vote for Ernst again. Does she have business dealings in Ukraine like the family of Biden and Romney? This is disgraceful. She cares more about Ukraine than she does the USA. All this is doing in prolonging a futile war, and these measures will only increase the death and destruction, not to mention worsen the world’s food crisis.

Senator Ernst and our other Republican Officials are a bunch of idiots or in the pay of the US Military Industrial Complex. The action by Putin in Ukraine is the proper response to years of broken promises that NATO would not expand “one inch eastward” as first articulated by then U.S. Secretary of State James Baker. See link below. If China made an alliance with Mexico and placed troops on our southern border – would not the United States respond with military action? This is exactly the situation the Russian nation is dealing with.
Have not over 20 years of senseless wars instigated and lost by the United States taught you any lessons?
Did not George Washington warn us: “to avoid foreign entanglements? But that is exactly what our leaders have entangled us in. Did not Dwight Eisenhower warn our leaders of the “Military-Industrial Complex ”? Yet, these are precisely the main instigators of our foreign wars – which have plagued us these twenty some odd years.
How much blood and treasure must we spend to “make the world safe for democracy”? China has avoided these types of senseless military boondoggles and they are now leading the world in manufacturing.
Senator Ernst – how does placing sanctions and leading us to the brink of World War III advance American interest? Please learn from the lessons of Washington and Eisenhower and be a real statesman and drop this senseless warmongering and follow an America first policy.
