One of the highlights from the Sioux County Convention was the removal of tort reform from the county platform. The Medical Freedom & Privacy Act has been leveraged as a way to get tort reform passed through the legislature.

Instead, grassroots activists in Sioux County removed support for tort reform from the platform today.

The Medical Freedom & Privacy Act has also been watered down significantly in addition to being lumped in with other bills reforming unemployment and medical malpractice.
