He did it. Senator Chuck Grassley signed the infrastructure bill that will lead to the Democrats getting all they want in the reconciliation bill too. I wonder if any of our Iowa lawmakers will say anything. Maybe they will just put out new Press Releases to get us to think about something else.

Through Grassley’s actions, we get to pay for industrial wind, industrial solar, excess power lines, electric vehicles, electric charging stations. We will be monetarily penalized when we travel and when we use traditional fuels. People in rural communities are hit hardest with the Green New Deal. It is our land taken, our peace stolen, more likely to have to drive further and least likely to buy or be able to charge an electric vehicle. Grassley has put us at a great disadvantage.

Personally, I think Grassley took the hit for the Swamp team and since they had enough votes, no one else had to sully their hands. The rest of the lawmakers can now wring their hands and dutifully complain about it while saying, “There is nothing I can do.”

Grassley has a very powerful position in DC. His seat is opening up. Unless we change the way we do things in Iowa we can trust that the Swamp has already groomed someone to replace him.

Senator Grassley, Iowans trusted you for generations. I am not hearing that anymore. You have betrayed your own.

One good thing you have done is to help pull away the last foundation people stood on. From their knees maybe they will finally call out to the Living God. Only He can help us now.
