Thank you for believing in Tax Education Foundation (TEF Iowa).  Partners like you have helped us to dive deeply into issues that are important to Iowans and promote free-market solutions for Iowa’s tax code, business climate, and education system.

At the very end of this year’s legislative session, a bill was passed that will allow Iowa taxpayers to keep over $1 billion more in their bank accounts over the next eight years.  While that is an important victory, there is more to be done.  In fact, TEF Iowa is already working on a new study to be released soon that will provide a roadmap to even greater tax savings.

Newspaper headlines from all over the state highlight challenges for our workforce. TEF Iowa will be offering a “back to work” policy prescription to get government out of the way of those wanting to work while also reducing the incentives for workers to sit on the sidelines.

Finally, we have been traveling across Iowa to listen to parents with deeply held beliefs about mask mandates, our country’s history, and gender issues that are in complete opposition to what their local schools are teaching.  What’s become clear is that without real choice in education, this cruel game of tug of war will continue to tear children apart, leaving them to wonder whether they should listen to their parents or their teachers.

It’s time to give parents a real choice about their children’s education so they aren’t forced to send their kids to a school with leadership they vehemently disagree with.  We will continue to highlight ways to break the publicschool monopoly and allow greater parental choice in education.

Good policy solutions can only come to light with your help. Could you donate to TEF Iowa today to support our work of ensuring every Iowan can achieve the American Dream?

We would be grateful for your support and have made it easy for you to donate here: https://www.tefiowa.org/contribute/
