12:30 p.m. – Senate Study Bill 3067:

Senate Study Bill 3067 was proposed by Education committee chair Sen. Amy Sinclair. It’s an act relating to the administration of student health screenings by school districts.

This bill prohibits districts from administering or conducting student health screenings that are not required by state or federal law unless the district has first acquired the written consent of the students’ parent or guardian.
