On Thursday, Rasmussen Reports released a new national phone and online survey that showed 78 percent of likely U.S. voters believe it is likely former Minneapolis police officer Derek Chauvin will be found guilty.

Thirty-eight percent said they believe it is “very likely.” Just 15 percent believe it is likely that Chauvin will be acquitted.

Those same voters also said that regardless of the verdict, they expect more riots after the trial. Again, 78 percent of voters said it is likely the verdict will cause riots, with 46 percent believing it is very likely.

Fifty percent of voters said that President Joe Biden identifies more with protesters than police. Nine percent of voters believe Biden identifies more with police than protesters. Thirty-three percent said Biden attempts to remain neutral.
