Congresswoman Liz Cheney maintained her spot on GOP leadership on Wednesday night after drawing the ire of congressional conservatives for her vote to impeach President Donald J. Trump.

Congresswoman Ashley Hinson of Iowa’s First District publicly acknowledged her vote for Cheney to retain her leadership position.

Congresswoman Mariannette Miller-Meeks also supported Cheney, according to a report we received from a reader.

But we have yet to hear from Congressman Randy Feenstra.

Cheney was perhaps the most vocal critic of Congressman Steve King. Her vote to impeach President Trump followed a natural progression one would expect.

King, for his part, retweeted a message from Jeremy Carl, former U.S. Deputy Assistant Secretary of the Interior.

“Don’t let Kevin McCarthy and others muddy the waters. A vote not to remove Liz Cheney from leadership is a vote to impeach Trump. Make sure you know where your rep stands.”
