House File 2144 actually has two organizations registered in support of it — Iowa Mental Health Advocacy and Campbell/Patterson Consulting LLP.
Such efforts have been discussed in the past, but struggled to advance far in the process.
Previous conversations typically centered on such a decision being a regional decision or requiring a certain amount of neighboring states to also establish one set time year round.
