Convention of States Action, in partnership with The Trafalgar Group—one of America’s most accurate pollsters—is releasing the results of a new national survey conducted in support of the upcoming HOW MANY MORE? Rally in Austin, TX. Results were from surveys conducted April 11th through April 14th of over 1,000 likely general election voters.

“The head of U.S. Homeland Security refuses to admit there is a crisis on the southern border, and Americans are watching daily as fentanyl and illegal aliens stream across our border and cartels blatantly engage in human trafficking. Folks are desperate for someone to step in and actually do something. Whether it’s negligence and incompetence, or political animus, the federal government has failed to execute one of its most essential functions,” said Mark Meckler, President of the Convention of States and organizer of the upcoming HOW MANY MORE? Rally in Austin, TX. “There’s a growing movement in the State of Texas—which these numbers reveal has the backing of the overwhelming majority of Americans—in support of legislation that would empower the Lone Star State to repel this ongoing invasion and fix the problem. Something can be done to address this crisis, and Texas must lead the way.”

Mark Meckler is one of the organizers of the event, where he’ll be joined by Ted Nugent, Congressman Chip Roy, and real-life victims and subject matter experts of the ongoing border crisis at the upcoming HOW MANY MORE? Rally on April 29th at the Texas State Capitol in Austin, TX. The rally is highlighting the unfolding crisis at the U.S. southern border with the dangerous influx of drugs like Fentanyl into the U.S., human trafficking, and the national security threat posed by drug cartels and international terrorist organizations.

The rally will serve as a call for Texas leaders like Governor Abbott and other state office holders to take immediate strong and decisive action. The potential actions include, among other things, declaring an “invasion” at the southern border, securing the passage of Texas HB 20 (which will create a Texas Border Protection Unit), and declaring the cartels as terror organizations.
