As riots continue around the country, so do the Democrats’ call to defund the police. Well, folks in Iowa have decided to take a stand.

Over the weekend, hundreds of voters in Des Moines took to the streets for a
“Back the Blue” march – showcasing their support and appreciation for law enforcement and President Trump.

From The Des Moines Register:

“A few hundred participated, many wearing black, blue, and the national colors of red, white and blue. During the march to the police department, demonstrators held signs that read ‘we support our police,’ and ‘cops for Trump’ and chanted ‘Back the blue!’”

The show of support came just days before law enforcement officials threw their
endorsement behind State Senator Mariannette Miller-Meeks – the Republican-endorsed candidate in IA-02’s critical open seat.

Though the need for law and order should not be a partisan issue, it’s clear to Iowans that Joe Biden is complicit in his silence as his running mate and party continue to stand with rioters and arsonists and not their communities.

Bottom Line: Iowans know that in Joe Biden and Kamala Harris’ America, the Defund the Police movement is coming to their communities. This weekend’s overwhelming demonstration is a reminder that a vote for law and order is a vote for President Trump and Republicans across Iowa.
