Before the 2016 election, Democrats speculated feverishly that Donald Trump might not accept the election results. Then he won, and they refused to accept that result.
They sought to delegitimize his election, citing Russia’s meddling or questioning our presidential electoral system.
On Inauguration Day, a Washington Post headline said it all, “The campaign to impeach President Trump has begun.”
In fact, we now know that efforts to fabricate a Russia collusion narrative were already underway well before Inauguration Day.
The same people are again fretting that President Trump might not accept the election results if he loses, as if presidents in our system have any choice.
But what if he wins?
Hilary Clinton said Biden “should not concede under any circumstances.”
Will they respect the election results this time?
